During his short but encouraging speech, Dr Morni advised the students to continue using the language in any situation possible. He also share his personal experience as a student from rural setting who had the same problem in communicating English language when he was studying in London. But, because of his willingness to learn and his determination to master the language, now he is an eloquent speaker of English. He added that there is no shortcut to learn a language than to use it frequently.

Dr Morni who was given the honour to present the Certificates of Graduation as well as certificates of excellence performance in various activities and with perfect attendance to the students; also praised Madam Jenifah for her efforts in making the programme motivating such as by sponsoring prizes for these outstanding students in various activities held throughout the semester.

Earlier in her welcoming speech, Madam Jenifah congratulated the students for their commitment to enhance their English Language proficiency. The main objective of the programme is to boost the student confidence in using the language. Apart from adapting English Language in their interpersonal skills and communication skills, students are also required to demonstrate teamwork and adaptability in facing challenges in completing a given task within a stipulated time frame. The students were also assessed on their written, oral presentation and performances. They also put on a live show, showcasing their dynamic performances during the event.

Madam Jenifah who named this as a “Family Programme” thanked Dr Morni, Madam Azizah, IT and Media Department, as well English lecturers and staff who have given their undivided support to ensure the success of the programme.

To show her appreciation to all SIDMA staff and students for their unique support and cooperation towards ensuring the smooth running of the event, Madam Jenifah invited all staffs and students to enjoy a Hi-Tea refreshment that she personally sponsored at the end of the programme.
